Eucera commixta Dalla Torre & Friese, 1895 View in CoL
Eucera commixta Dalla Torre & Friese View in CoL (nomen novum proposed for Tetralonia nigrifacies Dours, 1873 View in CoL nec Eucera nigrifacies Lepeletier, 1841 View in CoL ), listed as such by Nieto et al. (2014), was originally described from Algeria and south France. The type series is considered to be lost and specimens described from France are likely not conspecific ( Dorchin, 2023).
Distribution. This taxon occurs in Algeria and other reported localities are doubtful due to uncertain identification and confusion with similar species.
