Hylaeus biarmicus was removed from the Spanish list because of the many doubts regarding the record of Warncke (Ortiz-Saìnchez et al. 2002; Ortiz-Saìnchez 2011). However, in a recent publication by Dathe (2022), this species is redescribed, its presence is confirmed in Spain and its status as a valid species is confirmed.
