Distribution. Listed for Europe by Nieto et al. (2014). The species presumed occurrence in Europe was based on the erroneous synonymisation of Hoplitis (Alcidamea) turcestanica ( Dalla Torre, 1896) with H. caularis by Warncke (1991) ( Fateryga & Proshchalykin 2020). Confidently determined records of Hoplitis caularis are currently known only from Central Asia (M̧ller 2022).
