Caryedon palaestinicus Southgate, 1979 .
Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan, Razavi Khorasan ( Anton 1998 as C. palaestinicus ), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Anton 1998; Afroozian & Mohammadi 2004 as C. palaestinicus ), Yazd ( Mohammadi-Khorramabadi 2016).
General distribution. Afghanistan, Algeria, Croatia, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan.
Host records. Acacia nilotica L., Prosopis spicigera L. ( Afroozian & Mohammadi 2004), Prosopis farcta (Banks & Sol.) (all Fabaceae ) ( Mohammadi-Khorramabadi 2016).
Comments. Three larval parasitoids, Rhaconotus aciculatus (Cresson, 1872) , Rhaconotus kerzhneri Belokobylskij, 1985 ( Hymenoptera : Braconidae : Doryctinae ), and Eurytoma scrophulariae Zerova, 1981 ( Hymenoptera : Chalcidoidea: Eurytomidae ) were recorded as the parasitoids of Caryedon angeri in Yazd province by Mohammadi-Khorramabadi (2016).
