ACRE TODY-TYRANT Hemitriccus cohnhafti

Endemic; bamboo forest specialist; Near Threatened. Recently described species for which few natural history data are available ( Zimmer et al. 2013, Melo et al. 2015). One was recorded in a bamboo patch at HFR on 19 November 2018, by R. Plácido (WA2376966) ( Fig. 3C View Figure 3 ). The record extends the species’ known range 95 km north of the nearest previously known locality, on the Transacreana highway in Acre ( Melo et al. 2015).
