Compsophis sp. aff. laphystius with Calumma amber and Uroplatus alluaudi in
stomach
During nocturnal surveys on the upper reaches of the west slope of Montagne d’ Ambre National Park (ca. 12.584°S, 49.240°E; 1267 m asl) on 15 December 2017, we encountered a further large female specimen of C. sp. aff. laphystius (tissue sample MSTIS 01010) which was engorged from a large meal. Regurgitation yielded an adult female Calumma ambreense (tissue sample MSTIS 00999) and an adult Uroplatus alluaudi (tissue sample MSTIS 01000), the former in rather good condition but quite soft, the latter already halfdigested ( Figure 5 View Figure 5 (b)).
