Remarks.

We examined specimens of L. simile from the two known localities: the type-locality Grieta Punta de Guana cave (Nalbant, 1981) and La Pluma Cave ( Díaz-Pérez et al. 1987a). This species was also reported from El Tunel cave in Quivican, southern Havana, living in sympatry with L. dentata ( Díaz-Pérez et al. 1987a). However, this later report need verification.
