Cystomutilla bifurcata Chen, 1957: 152 , ♀ (holotype, ♀, China, "Fukien [Fujian], Shaowu (Tachulan), 20.X.1942 (Tsing-chao Maa's personal collection, not located)); Lelej 2005: 107.

Diagnosis. FEMALE. Clypeus posteriorly with broad, flattened, V-shaped, strong carina. Mandible apically bidentate. Metasomal tergum 1 posteriorly with fringe of fuscous setae. Head and metasoma black, mesosoma and legs ferruginous-red. Tergum 2 posteriorly and tergum 3 with band of yellow setae, latter linger than on tergum 2, former not widened medially. Body length 6.3–9.0 mm. MALE unknown.

Distribution. China (Fujian, Jiangxi (new record), Zhejiang (new record)).
