Type locality: " Palawan u. N. Borneo " .
Distribution: Malaysia (Borneo), Philippines ( Heller, 1897a; Mohamedsaid et al., 1997).
Remark: This species is only briefly mentioned in Heller’s key (1897a), who attributed it to Brenske. However, Brenske never described such species. Consequently, Heller should be treated as the author of A. palawana , and 1897 as the year of publication.
