Apogonia ovata Miyake and Yamaguchi, 1998: 25 (nec Fåhraeus in Boheman, 1857)
Type locality: " Kaeng Tana , Khong Chiam, Ubonratchathani, E. Thailand " .
Distribution: Thailand ( Miyake and Yamaguchi, 1998).
Remark: Apogonia ovata Miyake and Yamaguchi, 1998 is currently regarded as a primary junior homonym of A. ovata Fåhraeus in Boheman, 1857 (currently Dichecephala ovata ). Because there is no available substitute name for A. ovata Miyake and Yamaguchi, a new name A. miyakei nom. nov. is proposed.
