Type locality: " Ceylon " .

Distribution: Sri Lanka ( Karsch, 1882).

Remark: The position of A. aequabilis within the subgenus Catagonia Kolbe, 1899 , as proposed Kolbe (1899a,b), is questionable because Catagonia (currently the genus Dichecephala Brenske, 1895) is restricted to the Ethiopian region.
