Type locality: "Taru im Hinterlande von Mambassa".
Distribution: Kenya ( Kolbe, 1899a).
Remark: The new combination established here is in accordance with Moser’s (1918) and Burgeon’s (1945) generic concepts of African Diplotaxini .
