Lacconotus punctatus LeConte is newly recorded fin Nova Scotia and discussed by Majka & Selig (in review). Otherwise recorded in Canada in Ontario and Québec; in the United States in New Hampshire ( Chandler 2001), Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan ( Downie & Arnett 1996). Larvae of Lacconotus View in CoL have been recorded under the bark of dead fir ( Abies View in CoL ) ( Pinaceae View in CoL ), poplar ( Populus View in CoL ) ( Salicaceae View in CoL ), and oak ( Quercus View in CoL ) ( Fagaceae View in CoL ) ( Lawrence 1991).
