30 kilometers south of Lambarene, on raod from Bigouenia to

Mora , about 00°58’S, 10°21’E, northwestern Gabon / Rivière rapi- de à environ 30 km au Sud de Lambaréné, sur la route de Bigouenia à Mora , à environ 00°58’S, 10°21’E, Nord-Ouest du Gabon ”. Holotype: MTD F 1874. Paratypes: MTD F 1875 (1). Occurrence: native

Distribution and remarks: known from the southern tributaries of the lower Ogowe River system southward to the lower Congo River system. Considered by some authors as a synonym of Epiplatys ansorgii .
