Distribution and remarks: a Lower Guinea endemic, found in the Ivindo and Benito River drainage systems, between Ovan and Belinga, in northern Gabon. Also found in the adjacent part of Equatorial Guinea, and Congo. Some recent collection found in Sebe River east of Lastourville, Ogowe ( Cutler et al., 2019).
