Distribution and remarks: endemic to the Pra Basin in Ghana. It does not occur in Lower Guinea. Identifications of C. walkeri in Lower Guinea appear to be misidentifications of mature male of C. auratus , or of C. aluuensis or C. thysi . However, the type-locality of C. kingsleaye is: “Ogowe River, Ghana ”. Holotype: BMNH 1899.12.23.1, when the Ogowe River is mainly in Gabon.
