Current name: Achyranthes sicula (L.) All. View in CoL ( Amaranthaceae ).

Note: Townsend (in Bosser & al., Fl. Mascareignes 142: 21. 1994) stated "Type: Amaranthus radice perpetua, t. 9 in Herb. Boccone (P. holo.: photo.!)" but it is unclear if this is a copy of Boccone’s published figure (in which case it can be the type), or a specimen (which would not have been seen by Linnaeus and therefore cannot be the type).
