The name refers to type locality.
Male. Postpedicel longer than its greatest breadth. Left side of epandrium as Fig. 93 View FIGURES 93–95 , left gonopod reduced to a small lobe, with a pair of bristles, and left lobe of hypandrium as Fig. 94 View FIGURES 93–95 , right lobe of hypandrium as Fig. 95 View FIGURES 93–95 . Wing 1.3–1.4 mm long. Costal index 0.53. Vein 3 with a terminal vesicle which extends beyond with tip of costa. All tibiae are brown.
Material. Holotype male, Honduras, Olancho, PN La Muralla, 15 km NW of La Union, 15.12 o N, 86.75 o W, flight interception trap, January 1995, R. Cordero ( LACM, 26-67) GoogleMaps . Paratypes, 2 males as holotype except one ( CUMZ) .
