Natural history. Apart from the rearings from the rotting spadices of Carludovica palmata Ruiz & Pay (Cyclanthacaeae) and Heliconia mariae Hook. F. (Heliconiaceae) ; and from bread fruit ( Artocarpus altilis (Parkinson) Fosberg , Moraceae ).
