Identification. Differentiated by reduced size with lan- ceolate leaves; long hexagonal medial and distal cells; large and broad irregularly-rectangular basal cells; ovoid and rugose capsule. Habitat: terricolous.
Brazilian range. MT, PA, PE, RO. New record for Caatinga.
