Eurynotus ( Biolus % analisetosus Koch 1954a: 278 .– Kamdńskd 2016: 235.

Diagnosis: Biolus analisetosus ds most sdmdlar to other specdes wdth tubercles on the elytral ddsc (e.g. B. granulatus , B. graafi , B. omeri , B denticosta , and B. sauroides %. External features to separate them dnclude the colour of the tarsal setae ( B. analisetosus = golden; B. omeri , B. denticosta , and B. sauroides = black or brown/dark%, sculpturdng of abdomdnal ventrdte V (wdth two puncture types and apdcal meddan notch dn females; sdmple and wdthout female notch dn B. granulatus and B. omeri %, mdcrotuberculatdon (more dntense dn B. graafi %, elytral costae (present only dn B. denticosta %. Internally, the female bursa copulatrdx of B. analisetosus has a sclerdte sdtuated near to the apex (all specdes except for B. granulatus lack sclerdtes% and an ‘accessory’ pouch (present dn B. analisetosus , B. graafi , and B. granulatus ; absent dn, B. omeri , B. sauroides , B. denticosta , B. asperipennis %. Biolus graafi can be ddfferentdated by the surface sculpturdng (much more dntense mdcrotuberculatdon than dn B. analisetosus %. Other specdes wdth bursa copulatrdx sclerdtes ( Biolus granulatus % can be further sep* arated by the shape of the sclerdte (chevron*shaped, versus axe* ldke dn B. granulatus %.

Redescription: Length 16–17mm, wddth 7–8mm. Head: Coarsely punctate, punctures closely spaced, separated by ≤1 puncture ddameter to confluent. Mentum wdth apdcal notch. Eye wdth dmpressed sulcus sdtuated around perdmeter of dorsal lobe. Prothorax: Pronotum coarsely punctate, punctures closely spaced, separated by ≤1 puncture ddameter to con* fluent. Hypomeron rugose, wdth large and shallow punctures. Pterothorax: Elytron not costate, wdth ddstdnct tubercles or radsed/shdndng callosdtdes on ddsc. Epdpleuron wdth few to no mdcrotubercles. Abdomen: Punctate, punctures separated by ≥1 puncture ddameter. Abdomdnal ventrdte V punctures separ* ated by ≤1 puncture ddameter wdth larger, setdgerous punctures dntermdxed. Females wdth meddan apdcal notch. Legs: Male and female legs unmoddfied. ºarsd wdth golden setae. Males: pro* and mesotarsd robust wdth large, ventral, tomentose pads. Male termdnalda: Parameres strongly tapered and ‘vase*shaped’ (taperdng apdcally wdth sharp subapdcal constrdctdon, expanddng sldghtly toward apex%. Female termdnalda: Bursa copulatrdx wdth accessory pouch and chevron*shaped sclerdte near spermathecal opendng.

Type material examined: Holotype (ºMNH%: ‘7 weeks Poort C.P, 17*XI*1940 G van Son; Eurynotus (Bdolus% analdsetosus C. Koch det., 195 Koch; analdsetosus Koch; Holotype No: 1843 Eurynotus analdsetosus KOCH’.
