Miyatrombicula cynos (Ewing)

Oconee Co., Foothills Trail, 16 December 1994, ex Glaucomys volans (Linnaeus) , coll. R. Moss.

One larva was removed from the ear of a dried museum skin. Loomis (1956) listed this species in Kansas from tree squirrels, deer mice, eastern wood rats, cave myotis, eastern cottontails, and raccoons.
