Materials examined. USA: Florida: Specimens from Alachua County ( FSCA, dry mounted).

Diagnosis. Galls are formed under the bark ( Tuthill 1943).

Distribution. USA: IL, KS, OH ( Hodkinson 1988).

Host plants. Celtis sp. ( Cannabaceae ).
