Genus Pseudopterogramma Papp, 2008 View in CoL
Pseudopterogramma Papp, 2008a:99 View in CoL (neuter, erroneously given as feminine in the original description). Type species P. siamensis Papp, 2008 , original designation. – PAPP (2008a): 99 –102 [diagnosis, key, illustr.].
Note. PAPP (2008b) erected the new genus Pseudopterogramma View in CoL for Pterogramma insulare Papp, 1972 View in CoL and one new
Oriental species, without consideration of the other Pacific and Oriental species previously treated as Pterogramma beyond mentioning that “ Leptocera (Poecilosomella) conica Richards ... may belong here”, and without recognising that SMITH & MARSHALL (2004) treated P. insulare and P. conicum as part of the same undescribed genus, along with P. deemingi , P. brevivenosum , P. annectens , and P. aestivale . We here treat P. annectens ( Richards, 1964) , P.
brevivenosum ( Tenorio, 1967) , and P. conicum ( Richards, 1946) as new combinations in Pseudopterogramma View in CoL , while recognising that this entire group needs to be revised (see also notes under Pterogramma View in CoL ).
