(1998) list Amblyomma beaurepairei as an alleged synonym of Amblyomma curruca , a tick also considered to be a synonym of Amblyomma auricularium here, although the status of Amblyomma curruca merits reevaluation in the opinion of Guglielmone et al. (2017).
