151. Haemaphysalis subelongata Hoogstraal, 1953a . An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Afrosoricida : Tenricidae. Nymphs have been collected from Rodentia : Muridae , and larvae have been recovered from Rodentia : Nesomyidae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis subelongata causing human parasitism.
