Host. Blue-bellied black snake, Pseudechis guttatus De Vis, 1905 ( Ophidia : Elapidae ).
Distribution. Australia (Queensland).
Material studied. One specimen with scolex (two whole-mounted slide and six cross sections) from Dalby , Queensland (27°11'49''S 151° 15' 57''E), 17.01.1935 ( BMNH 1936.3.31.31-40). GoogleMaps
Remarks. The specimen is in poor state of preservation and does not allow reliable morphological description. It s characterised by a scolex 475 wide and 250 long, without an apical organ, 61–67 testes in two narrow lateral bands, a high ratio of the ovary width to the width of the proglottid (68–83%), a genital pore situated anteriorly (34–45%), and the absence of egg clusters.
