DISTRIBUTION. Eastern Transbaikalia, eastern half of Mongolia ( Fig. 5 View Figs 5–6 ), southern part of the Russian Far East, Northern China, and Japan. Introduced to Central Asia, Kazakhstan, and European Russia with ornamental U. pumila ; penetrates to the north as far as the Moscow Oblast.
HOST. Ulmus pumila .
REMARK. Was recorded from Mongolia by Emelyanov [1977] as M. ulmaria .
