Additional examined material. 4 specimens “ RSA, NW, 2008 / W of Bothaville / Vaal river / 24.12. Snižek lgt.” (3 LSC , 1 DBET ).

Comments. Limnocassis pumilio is the most widely distributed species of this genus, the only with distribution range in South Africa beyond the Western and Eastern Cape provinces including Kwazulu-Natal, Free State, North-West and Limpopo Provinces ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 ). It is also the only species with a single locality in Zimbabwe ( Borowiec 2002).
