Schizachyrium condensatum (Kunth) Nees ( Figs. 1A–C , 2A–B ).

Type:— COLOMBIA. Tolima, regni novogranatensis, prope Ibague & Valle de Carabajal, October, Humboldt & Bonpland s.n. (holotype P!, isotype US! [fragm. ex P]).
