Diagnosis. Body with 21 leg-bearing segments. Spiracles oval-shaped ( Fig. 25C View FIGURE 25 ).Antennae with 17 antennomeres including first four glabrous dorsally ( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 ). Coxosternal plate clearly separated, tooth margins consisting of 4 very tiny obtuse teeth ( Fig. 24D View FIGURE 24 ). Segment 2 of telopodite of the second maxilla without distal spur. Tergites 4–20 with complete paramedian grooves ( Fig. 25A View FIGURE 25 ). Sternites 2–19 with two complete paramedian grooves ( Fig. 25B View FIGURE 25 ). Coxopleural process large, conical, with 5–7 apical spines, and several spines distributed laterally ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 A–B). Prefemur of ultimate legs with big, irregularly arranged spines ( Fig. 26 View FIGURE 26 C–D).
Previous records in Vietnam. QUANG NINH, HAI PHONG, NINH BINH ( Schileyko, 1995, 2007).
Distribution. Only known from northern Vietnam ( Fig. 27 View FIGURE 27 ).
Remarks. Our specimens agree well with the description of Schileyko (1995), except for the spine arrangement on the prefemur of the ultimate legs. Schileyko (1995) described the prefemur of the ultimate legs as having 5 parallel rows of spines: two ventrolateral (4 and 7 spines), two ventromedial (6 and 7) and a single dorsomedial row (4–5). In contrast, the prefemur of ultimate legs have large, irregularly arranged spines in our examined specimens.
