Diagnosis. The forewing length is 9.5 mm in the holotype male. The new species is most similar superficially to S. nebulibia sp. n., but can easily be distinguished by its pale ochreous wing coloration (it is white in S. nebulibia sp. n.). The male genitalia of S. langgona sp. n. differ from those of other congeners by the short (ca. 1/4 of the length of the membranous distal lobe) and asymmetrical costal processes (the right one is longer and narrower than the left one), while in other congeners the costal processes are symmetrical. The ventro-distal process of the valva of S. langgona sp. n. is similar to that of S. pleiadina sp. n., but is somewhat narrower medially and constricted subapically (whereas it is smoothly narrowed distally in S. pleiadina sp. n.). The distal saccular process of S. langgona sp. n. is stick-like and bearing a claw-like tip, whereas in other members of the genus the distal saccular processes are smoothly tapered distally. The aedeagus of S. langgona sp. n. is similar to that of S. pleiadina sp. n., but is somewhat longer (in comparison to the length of the valva) and having a slightly wider coecum (in comparison to the aedeagus width).
Female is unknown.
Distribution. Known from the Philippine Island of Mindanao.
Etymology. Langgona is a character of the Philippine folktale, the father of the twins Bulanawan and Aguio.
