Diagnosis
Adult ( Figure 2P–R View Figure 2 ). Wingspan 15.5 mm. This species is similar to the preceding new species, T. sirtalis Wu , T. rectilinea Park and T. acrifera (Meyrick) , with the forewing colour pattern, dividing into two parts: the dark-brown basal part and the paler distal part, but it can be easily differentiated from them by the different structures of the male genitalia. The male genitalia ( Figure 3P–R View Figure 3 ) are similar to those of T. galera Wu et Liu from China and T. pseudogalera Park from Taiwan, but can be distinguished by the specialized, quadrate distal portion of cucullus with sharp sclerotized apical process.
