15. Myrmecia sanguinea HNS .
Worker. Length 6-9 lines.-Blood-Ted: the abdomen black; the head longitudinally rugose-striate, not coarsely so. The prothorax with striae diverging from the centre, that on the meso- and metathorax transverse; a deep strangulation between the meso- and metathorax; the first node of the petiole more or less rugose, both blood-red.
