Plesiobatidae (giant stingarees)

Plesiobatis daviesi (giant stingaree) ( fig. 64)

The three specimens of this species includ- ed in the analysis were collected from Malaysian Borneo and the Philippines and thus represent only a central portion of the distribution of this species, which has been reported from southeastern Africa to Hawaii. The specimen from the Philippines was vouchered (GN4346 5 MMLM 017). The sequences of all three specimens were identical.
