Type material. Female holotype from Colombia ( SMF 4562), Cauca, Popayán (Konsul Lehmann). Type specimen was not examined, only the genitalia was examined from photo ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 48, 49. 48 ). Diagnosis. Females are distinguished from all species of the genus by their rounded spermathecae ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 48, 49. 48 ), from C. acanthoctenoides by their trapezoidal median sector of epigynum ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 48, 49. 48 ), heart-shaped in the later species ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 48, 49. 48 ) and from C. otongachi by their much larger size (size taken from the literature). Male. Unknown.
Distribution. Colombia: only known from the type locality.
