11. Thyreodon ultor Porter

Thyreodon ultor Porter, 1984: 55 . Holotype ♀, Cuba (MCZ).

Thyreodon grandis Cresson. Alayo, 1973: 49 [Misidentification] [Examined].

T. ultor has been identified in several collections as T. grandis ( Porter, 1984) , and present paper add two new and similar species ( T. alayoi and T. gabrieli ). T. ultor is the only species in this complex with prenotaular crests, and with lesser flagellar segments in antennae ( Table 2). All specimens housed in Cuban collections except one come from the same EC locality: Gran Piedra, SC. According to Porter (1989), the holotype and one of the paratype were colected in another EC localities (Imías, GT; Santiago de Cuba, SC), besides the species is distributed in Bahamas.
