Zoogeographical distribution type. Holomediterranean.
Distribution in Croatia. Found in Alpine and Mediterranean region. Michaelsen (1908): Mljet; Šapkarev (1972, 1979): Rijeka, Split; Mršić (1984): Alan (Velebit), Smiljan, Mokrice.
Remark. The records of Šapkarev and Mršić require confirmation, since they are from a time when D. byblica and D. ganglbaueri were in synonymy, see D. ganglbaueri , remarks.
