Habitat. Species suitable for vermicomposting, mostly found in composts and dung heaps. Zoogeographical distribution type. Peregrine.
Distribution in Croatia. Records only in the Mediterranean region, all along the coastline and islands. Omodeo (1954): Rovinj; Šapkarev (1979): Omiš, Split, Veli Lošinj.
