Hydropsyche pellucidula View in CoL View at ENA , new species cluster
Species are characterized by the presence of fused sclerotized endothecal processes, by the absence of digitiform, apicoventral setose lobes and by the presence of the angular, subapical, lateral projections before the cleft apex of the phallotheca. Hydropsyche species with phallothecal lateral projection were placed into the Hydropsyche guttata group sensu lato, having no digitiform apicoventral setose lobe or processes on the Xth segment ( Malicky, 1977). Reviewing the Bulgarian and Roumanian Hydropsyche guttata group sensu stricto, the species with phallothecal lateral projection and without digitiform process were not listed and treated by Kumanski and Botosaneanu (1974).
