( Figs. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 7. 1 – 3, 5 , 11–14 View FIGURES 8 – 14. 8 – 10 )
Eucharis punctata Förster 1859: 89: 89 –91. Type data: Tyrol Austria. Type depository: syntype ♀, MNHN. Additional citations: Dalla Torre, 1898: 36; Bouček, 1951: 52.
Psilogastrellus punctatus ; Bouček, 1977: 60, 124. Change in combination.
Eucharis (Psilogastrellus) punctata ; Heraty, 2002: 145. Revised combination.
Material examined. Turkey: 1♀, Konya, 8.viii. 1951, leg. Bytinski-Salz, UCRC_ENT 400700 ( TAU).
Hosts. Myrmicinae. Messor sp. (Bouček 1952), Messor barbarous (L.) (Bouček 1956, 1977; Öncüer 1991), M. concolor Santschi (Heraty 2002) . These ant records are likely erroneous because the eucharitids were reared from an ant with a cocoon, which is not present in the Myrmicinae (Lachaud and Pérez-Lachaud, 2012) .
Distribution. Algeria, Austria (Förster 1859), Bulgaria (Heraty 2002), Egypt [Helwan, southern suburb of Cairo, 29˚51?N, 31˚20?E, Heraty 2002], Tunisia (Bouček 1956), Turkey (Bouček 1951, 1956), Croatia, Yugoslavia (Bouček 1977), Macedonia (Bouček 1956, 1977).
