Type host. Engraulis anchoita Hubbs & Marini, 1935 ( Clupeiformes : Engraulidae ) Site of infection. Gills.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires coastal area (36°52’S- 55°28’W). Holotype. ♀, MLP-Cr 26072, 1995-09. Collector: Timi, J. Paratypes. 2 ♀, MLP-Cr 26073, 1994-10, same locality, host and collector as type. Current status. Valid species. GoogleMaps

Remarks. 2 ♀ paratypes, IPCAS.
