Type species: Pseudokuzicus pieli ( Tinkham, 1943)
Body little larger than species of subgenus Similkuzicus subgen. nov. in general. Fastigium of vertex conical, apex obtuse, narrower than scape of antenna, with thin longitudinal furrow dorsally. Apical segment of maxillary palpi slightly longer than subapical one or with same length. Compound eyes oval, obviously protruding. Tenth abdominal tergite moderately broad, posterior margin slightly raised in middle, with a pair of long processes, straight or curved downwards. Cerci cylindraceous or separated into internal and external branches from subbasal portion, slightly bifurcate at apex. Titillator relatively short with dentate dorsal margin or rather long spine-shaped, apex thin and acute. Subgenital plate subrectangle, longer than broad, posterior margin with a small medial notch. Styli of subgenital plate long or rather small.
Female subgenital plate large, posterior margin with small medial projection. Ovipositor slightly longer, moderately curved upwards in apical half.
