Distribution. Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Hungary, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland ( Negrobov & Naglis 2016) and Czech Republic (present paper).
Status in CZ. The first records are given herein.
Ecology. Medetera parenti has been collected on trunks of different kinds of deciduous trees in marshland habitats (M. Pollet, unpubl. data). The new records presented above originate almost exclusively from aspen ( Populus tremula ).
