Material examined. Bohemia, Špičák (6845), Čertovo jezero (lake) env., 49°10′N 13°11′E, 1030–1100 m, NW slopes above lake, Picea , 23.vi.2022, 1 ♁ ( MCH) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Czech Republic, Estonia and Russia (European part) ( Negrobov & Naglis 2016; Naglis et al. 2016b).
Status in CZ. Recorded for the first time only recently, from Vráž in southern Bohemia ( Naglis et al. 2016b).
Ecology. Like most other members of the M. signaticornis –pinicola species group, this species is likely confined to coniferous trees.
