Material examined. Bohemia, Domažlice (6543), 49°25′57″N 12°54′22″E, 445 m, Populus , 4.x.2020, 1 ♁ ( MCH) GoogleMaps ; ditto, 9.x.2020, 1 ♁ ( MCH) GoogleMaps ; ditto, 30.viii.2021, 1 ♁ ( MCH) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, northern European part of Russia ( Negrobov & Naglis 2016), Sweden ( Persson et al. 2019) and Czech Republic (present paper). Collin (1941) recorded M. incrassata from Great Britain, which proved incorrect ( Collin 1952), and no other records from Great Britain are known (C.M. Drake, pers. comm.).
Status in CZ. The first records are given herein.
Ecology. Similar to that of the closely related M. freyi (see above).
