Mukhopadhyay, ex. ‘ Cow dung’; 03 ex, Rudraprayag, Agustamuni, 7.x.2004, P. Mukhopadhyay, ex. ‘ Garbage’; Kuthnor, 1ex, 10.xi.2003, S.K. Chakraborty; 1 ex, Bageswar, Baijnath, 24.iii.2001, S.K. Chakraborty, ex. ‘ Cow dung’ .

Diagnosis: Head and thorax very finely rather closely punctured all over, bronze black, with slight greenish reflex on the fore parts. The thorax with dorsal row of four to six punctures. Antennae black. Legs brownish or blackish, the tersi lighter. Length 8-11 mm.

Distribution: India: Uttarakhand (Almora: Sukhidong, Dehradun: Rajaji National Park; Rudraprayag: Agustamuni, Kuthnor, Bageswar: Baijnath). Elsewhere: Pamirs. Widely distributed in the Palaearetic region.
