The insolens View in CoL speciesgroup

The insolens speciesgroup can be recognized from other Plator species by the absence of RTA of male pedipalpus (Figs 19, 24, 30, 35), and female epigyne with narrow first windings of the copulatory duct system (Figs 17, 22, 27, 28, 33).

Three species, all from Northeast Asia, are included in this group: P. i n s o l e n s Simon 1880, P. sinicus Zhu & Wang 1963 and P. nipponicus ( Kishida, 1914) . Here the former two Chinese species are redescribed.
