Lectotype (Heyn in Israel J. Bot. 15: 40. 1966; Chrtková-Zertová in Ann. Naturhist. Mus. Wien 75: 34, f. la. 1971): Herb. Clifford: 372, Lotus 3: left branch (BM-000646723) .

Current name: Lotus peregrinus L. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Heyn (1966) designated the Clifford sheet as the type but her choice was subsequently restricted to the left-hand branch by Chrtková-Zertová in 1972.
