Adorium testaceum Fabricius, 1801: 410 ; Zimsen, 1964: 92 (one type: CPH). Oides testacea: Harold, 1876: 3556 (catalogue).
Dimax testaceum: Weise, 1923: 113 .
Chabria testacea: Csiki, 1940: 510 ; Biondi & D’Alessandro, 2013: 98 (catalogue). Haltica croleuca Wiedemann, 1819: 182 ; Vachon, 1980a: 16 (as synonym of Adorium testaceum ).
Types. Holotype (CPH, by monotypy, abdomen lost, sex undetermined), labeled: “ TYPE [p, r] // A. testaceum / e Sumatra, Daldorff / Adorium [h, w]”.
Remarks. Adorium testaceum belongs within Alticini, possibly Sphaerometopa, but further research is necessary to confirm its identity.
